Hi,

In my house i have the following setup:

Fiber connection to the house(1000mbit). From fibre converter, ethernet cable to port 1 of primary Deco node. Primary node is situated on the ground floor.

This has been working so far.Both other nodes has been connected via wifi.

As i started to stream 4K movies (TV on top floor) - i was not happy with the performance from the node on the top floor. So i bought an ethernet cable (Cat6) and put it from port 2 of the primary node to the 1st port on the node upstairs. However, the node upstairs does not switch from wireless to ethernet connection.

I pluged my computer directly to the ethernet cable, and the signal is fine. Any thoughts?

Try this:

1. Find short Ethernet cable, bring Satellite Deco to where Main Deco is, connect them with short Ethernet cable and see if link between them changes to wired;

2. You can use that short cable to connect TV to Satellite Deco (most modern TVs have Ethernet port), that alone should improve streaming even if you can't make Satellite X50 use long Ethernet cable you have to connect to Main Deco.
