Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n

Hello,

I have an Archer MR600 wifi router. I want to extend the Wifi range using One Mesh. So I bought a RE330 (V1.0 firmware: 1.0.23 Build 230418 Rel.60395n (6985)) because it as the following features : One Mesh and AP mode. AP mode seems to be the logical choice, that way I can rely on the stability and performance of a cabled RJ45 link between the router and the AP to extend my wifi in mesh mode.

However, it seems that the RE330 can not use One Mesh in AP mode. Nothing in the TP-link website nor in the documentation warns you about that.

Could you please answer the following questions :

- Can the Archer MR600 range be extended in Mesh using a wired AP ?
- If yes, which devices can I buy for that ?

Thank you

Hi, I think so. Some products in this thread support Easymesh as controller when working as AP mode.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

You may refer to Q8 in the guide first.

Not only range extender, but also most routers do not support AP mode when setting up Onemesh network.
