Hello!

I am planning on swapping my broadband for a mobile network so I'll need to use a sim too. Should I get a router with sim card slot or use a separate device?

  • Also which router will allow for up to 30 feet signal reach in a 2/3 bed house?
  • Is there a router available that would suit a home set up and travel?
  • Or would I be better getting separate devices?

Thanks for any help

Janice

Hi, the 4G LTE Router allows direct internet connectivity via a SIM card, utilizing 4G data access. Once you insert a compatible and unlocked SIM card, the router becomes plug-and-play.

To customize settings like the wireless network name and password, you have 2 options: the Web Interface or the Tether App. Both provide convenient ways to configure the router according to your preferences.

For detailed instructions on how to configure the router via Web Interface, refer to this video. (You can also operate on a phone)

For detailed instructions on how to configure the router via the Tether App, refer to this guide.

You can download Tether app directly from Apple Store or Google Play.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

If using the router in a house, it is more recommended a 4G/5G LTE router. You may refer to the official website using Filter tool to pick up a proper model.

If for travel, you may may refer to the official list.

  @Marvin_S Thanks.

I am looking at the Archer MR600 V3.

Having never used one of these before do I need to set it up with a computer (or phone) to get it working?

If so is there a minimum system requirement for MAC OS?
