They lose WiFi connection. Some come back up, but most don't. I have to restart those and they mostly will come back up after that. It occurres only with the non wired WiFi products. 

But that's mostly temporary because it will drop eventually. 

I recently got a new P1 meter to measure the electricity we're using and it's the hub to the home battery we're getting. And the supplier and I have been busy for 3 weeks now but don't get it connected in any way through WiFi. But it worked fine in the previous situation. 

The topology is:

Deco X50 5G to switch from switch wired to TV, DVD (home entertainment) etc. and from switch also wired to Deco X50 Nr 1. 

From the wired Deco X50 Nr 1 to switch to several wired devices like HVAC controle, solar panels, 

Upstairs wireless Deco X50 Nr 2 wired to switch. From switch wired to PC, printer, scanner etc. 

Upstairs bedroom only wireless Deco X50 Nr 3.

In the garden wireless Deco X50 outdoor wired to Smart TV. 

I'll wait with the guest network en reconnecting everything to this new network in case the information above gives another insight. 

  @Mackan Oh yes it's affecting me too.

Using a mesh network consisting of X50-5G + X50. And I noticed it's micro-managing how many devices can be online at one time. It starts kicking random devices offline once the total exceeds 25.

I even tried connecting both Deco devices using an ethernet cable to establish a wired backhaul but same issue.

And the latest update two days ago now shows the CPU and memory usage in device info page. Apparently I believe the cause is how memory usage kept hitting 100% almost all the time while memory usage also is high around 80% ++.

Yup it's a drama setup.

This is a problem that is somewhat bearable and I think can easily be fixed by TP Link but it seems they don't want to. 

But the big showstopper is the restarting every day (sometimes multiple times per day) because the X50- 5G is a piece of cr*p that can't keep a stable internet connection.

You read about this all the time but TP Link isn't doing anything about is. 

I've been a TP link reseller for years but closed my company a year ago. If I ever restart it will be without TP Link products.

The products are inferior in quality and the support is non existent. It just makes you more sad you bought the thing. 

  @Mackan Same problems here, since a couple of days IOT devices such as Wiz lights and Sonoff switches keep losing their wifi connections, some come back, most not

Have had similiar issues with IoT dropping. 

It already occured roughly back last April 2024.

Hardware 1.0 and 1.2

When running a wifi scan from an independent device, i notice that most AP do jot have any active IOT AP running. Sometimes none, most of the time it is only one AP IOT Node running. 

Crurrently running the Hw 1.2 as main node and all update to latest FW. 

compared to FW 1.4.2 it gets disgraceful.  

If they just would admit that they fail IoT network feature, I can run it as guest mode.  I only need to limit 2.4 Ghz wifi. my main reason to seperate it...
