Hi!

Yesterday I noticed a couple strange behaviors on the Deco app:

- My deco nodes are connected by cable, but for some reason two units were backhauling over wi-fi. It took a couple reboots, unplugging and replugging for them to function well again. The nodes and cables are pretty unaccessible, so it seemed to be more a software/firmware problem than a “loose cable”, specially after the two other problems I noticed after:

- The node connection topology is: Office > Bedroom > Living Room, but the app is now displaying them as both secondary nodes are directly connected to the main unit (Bedroom < Office > Living Room).
- Some items, like my tablet and wi-fi doorbell, are being displayed as “wired connection” instead of wi-fi (disabling some options as connection preference and other configurations that are only available for wi-fi).

Has anybody faced something simillar lately?

Kind regards,

Peter

  @peterhahmann

Hi, could you please refer to this link to help me submit the Deco APP log:

How to submit Deco APP log

Would there be any network switches between the main Deco and satellite Deco units?

---if yes, can I have the model number of the switch?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

 Hi, @David-TP !

Thanks for your reply.
I just emailed the log. I added this topic id 703606 to the message.

No, there are no switches in between. They are conected direcly one to the other, thru a single cable without any connectors, extensions, etc.

Best regards,
Peter
