WIFI extender loses connection with router
I tried everything that described in this topic. But my range extender keeps losing connection with router.
So according to the points in the article:
1. LEDs are disabled when it occures, except for power LED.
2. I can't login to web page since it connected to my tplink id.
3. It happens about 5-7 times a day. Sometimes it become fixed by itself, but sometimes it needs reboot.
6. I use only 5Ghz signal on both router and extender.
7. It didn't work fine from the start. I bought it a week ago.
8. I am not sure is it related to big traffic since sometimes it loses connection even without large traffic and sometimes it keeps connection with large traffic.

Hi
When the issue arises, only the power light on the extender illuminates, indicating a likely connection to the Wi-Fi channel of the router. If you exclusively utilize the 5G network of both the router and extender, it is advised to set the 5G Wi-Fi channel of the router to 36.
If you are uncertain about adjusting the Wi-Fi channel settings on the router, it is advisable to seek assistance from the router's support team.

Hi
It is recommended that you place the extender in the same room as the router to see if the problem still occurs.
If it still happens, please help collect the following questions:
1. When the problem occurs, please try to stand next to the extender and connect to the 5G of the router to test whether it can be detected and whether it can access the Internet;
2. Please provide the model number of the router.
