"Intermittent Client Disconnections on TP-Link Deco M9: Connection Restores When App is Opened"
I am using the TP-Link Deco M9 in router mode. The connection to clients connected to the router periodically gets disconnected. However, when I open the Deco app, the connection gets restored. What could be the cause of this?

Hi, welcome to the community.
May I know how long you have had the Deco M9 Plus? Did the disconnection issue start recently?
I don't think the Deco APP might be related to the disconnection issue but there was similar feedback a few days ago with a different mode:

Are you able to restore the internet connection almost every time when you open the Deco app?
What are the model numbers of the devices that frequently dropped out?
Please also disable "Fast roaming" and "Beamforming" to see whether it made any difference to the network stability.
Wait for your reply and best regards.

Sorry for the delayed response.

Yes, the connection is reliably restored every time.
What are the model numbers of the devices that frequently dropped out?
I’m not sure because I am using multiple Deco devices, but here are the details:
- Main: 00-31-92-96-10-D8 (Deco M9 Plus)
- Slave: 00-31-92-97-A5-06 (Deco M9 Plus), 1C-61-B4-68-73-78 (Deco M5)
Please also disable "Fast roaming" and "Beamforming" to see whether it made any difference to the network stability.
Fast roaming is already off. Beamforming was on, so I’ve turned it off and will monitor the situation.
The same issue is also happening at my workplace. There, Deco is being used in bridge mode, and despite disabling Smart DHCP and Fast Roaming, the issue persists.
