Model: Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Firmware Version: 1.3.10 Build 20240130 Rel. 77367(4341)

In the past week the Archer AX10 router has started dropping ethernet connected devices from the network. I have changed power outlets, factory reset the router and the ISP-provided modem, and tried connecting only through the ISP modem and it seems to be this device. Periodically, on no particular schedule, devices that are connected via ethernet will show that the ethernet is plugged in and available but there will be no internet connection nor any connection to other devices on the LAN. Opening the web management shows these devices missing from the client list - however wifi connected devices are fine. Unplugging and re-plugging in the ethernet cable from the device seems to solve the problem temporarily, but the problem seems to be happening more and more often. The lights on the router are all green no flashing when this happens. I have changed the DNS from the "Get Dynamically from ISP" to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 and this has not solved the problem. I work from home and use a NAS and this is really not acceptable, especially when the router is less than a year old.

  @hturme

Hi thanks for posting question here.

May I confirm the issue only happened on your certain wired devices or all wired devices?

If that happens on all your wired devices, and you have change all LAN ports on router and different Ethernet cables to check, you may contact retailer or local support to confirm warranty.

  @Marvin_S Thank you, I got impatient and called the hotline. For others who may be searching: after doing some more troubleshooting (changing DNS settings, checking firmware is up to date) TP Link has agreed to RMA as I am still under warrenty. I don't know if this is a fault of the system design (cannot actually handle having 4 devices plugged in...) or a single lemon but we will find out when the new router arrives. Since this help topic is pinned I assume I am not the only person who has had this fault: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/543042
