Model: Archer AX23
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20230725 Rel. 55602

I had a problem on my recently bought AX23 with the 5 Ghz connection with Wfi 6 on certain devices that are using the wifi 6 technology (802.11Ax) which have no internet when other devices are using the same 5 Ghz connection.

I tried contacting TP-Link Support and was told I needed to downgrade the firmware through the recovery mode cause it might be a firmware issue.

Already did through all the process of downgrading to the previous firmware version, still not downgraded properly. Is there another way to downgrade the firmware?

You should usde this guide (Case 2). That's the way you should do that.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

@terziyski I already tried that guide but still won't downgrade for some reason, even at one point it says "Firmware upgrade success" like in this pic, but after then, it just reloads the recovery page and not rebooting like normal like the guide says it would and then I've check again through the Web interface of the router to see the firmware still on the same version.

Which FW region your router is - that's on its bottom sticker as well as its HW version.

Which version of the FW you're trying to downgrade to ?

  @terziyski

FW Region: Indonesia

Current FW Version: V1.20_1.10 Build 20230725 Rel.55602

HW version: V1.20

Downgrade FW Version to: V1.2_220216

Your FW region is most probably (US). This should be printed on the device bottom sticker.

For your current FW version Archer AX23(US)_V1.20_1.1.0 Build 20230725 there's a note that:

" This firmware can not be degraded to the previous version. "

Get back to your local support and ask them if the recovery procedure can revert back to previous FW release V1.2_220216.

What are the devices that you don't have internet access on when using AX23 5GHz ?

@terziyski All of my wifi 6 capable devices (If only one of them connects to the 5 Ghz, it does have internet connection until another device connects to that 5 Ghz connection).

They (local support) told me to downgrade to that specific version through the recovery mode.

In such case I would RMA the router - contact your retailer and ask for assistance on that.
