Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Firmware Version: 1.0.12 Build 20231023 rel.42641(5553)

Hello,

Using Archer AX73 AX5400 as a openvpn client to a private openvpn server, in the basis this works.

Running into two issues:

1. Need to add devices1 by 1 to the openvpn client device list to let them use VPN tunnel, is it possible to automatically let all devices use the VPN tunnel by default?

2. When the VPN goes down, the device simply goes back to use the standard internet connection, is it possible to deny internet access when the VPN tunnel is down? The idea is to only allow device to access the internet through the VPN tunnel.

Kind regards,

Gerard

Hi,

1.  No

2.  No

These things have been reported previously by several users, but at this point it is not known whether TP-Link is going to implement these features in future firmware versions.
