@terziyski Thank you, but article only shows how to do this on a deco. I do not get those options. I am using the tether app from the app store.

That's correct. The article is about both Wireless routers/Deco, but for the example they've used the Deco app.
If you can't find similar option in Tether app then you can't exclude a particular device from the Web Protection.
