Model: RE220
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.23 Build 230418 Rel.60395n (6985)

Hallo,

I have three extenders (RE505, RE605 and RE220) with AX6000 router. The 605 and 505 are very close to the AX, however they always try to connect to the 220. I have disabled the 2.4 and 5 wifi, these units still try to connect to the 220. I cannot block them because they display as wired clients.

I have no wifi at the 220 location because of the wired connection.

How can I block these extender?

  @duplessisa

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

I see you mentioned "I have disabled the 2.4 and 5 wifi, these units still try to connect to the 220". Since it is not allowed to turn off both 2.4 and 5Ghz on the extender, do you connect RE220 via Ethernet cable to AX6000 and set RE220 in Access Point mode?

Is the "AX6000" Archer AX6000?

Have you tried to power off RE220, leave AX6000+ RE505X+RE605X to seee whether RE505X displays the right status?

By the way, may I know on which page you got the following status?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP , the 220 is connect via wifi and as range extender. If the 220 is off the 550 connects (as it should) to the AX6000.
