Model: RE220
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hello, I am having issues activating the Onemesh function through Tether. The RE220 has connected to the wifi which is from a Deco M4 but the Tether app is saying the router doesn't support Onemesh.

I am not sure what else to try as I have reset it a couple of times. At the moment I have it on the same ssid as the deco but have also tried _ext.

any help welcome!

@AWW

Hi,

Deco Mesh is not the same as OneMesh and for more details, please refer to this link:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/stories/detail/1322

So for the RE220, you might need a OneMesh router as well:

or for the Deco M4, you could have a look at Deco Mesh extender:

Thank you very much.
