Have found and downloaded/unzipped updated RE450 (CA) V2 firmware version from Canadian site, but when I connect the range extender to my computer via an Ethernet cable and access the device at 192.168.0.254 on my Google browser, the login page that opens only asks me to create a password for the device and then opens the Quick Setup window. How do I access the admin function in order to update the firmware?

Hi, after you finish the Quick Setup process to configure the extender successfully, please go to Settings->System Tools->Firmware Upgrade page to check for firmware update.
