Hi can i connect two routers with a cable using easymesh?  I have one Tp link C64 router, I plan to buy another router of the same type and connect it via easymesh so that the main router is like a router and assigns IP addresses and the second router is like an access point and is connected by cables from the LAN to the LAN port and I need it there  there was one wifi network, will it work?

Hello @Jakub007

We are excited to inform you that Archer C80V1/Archer C64V1/Archer A8V1 are supporting EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul now, and we are providing an early-released version of firmware for you in the following thread:

Early Release Firmware Adding EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul for Archer C80/C64/A8

Please download and install this version on your router to build an Ethernet backhaul via EasyMesh between these routers.

Hi,

According to this official forum post https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/578810 Ethernet backhaul for EasyMesh is a "planned" feature, but you should not count on it actually becoming available on any particular router model.

@Jakub007 After enabling EasyMesh on the main router and adding the satellite devices, you can connect the satellite to the main router's LAN port, that should allow them to build up the Ethernet Backhaul automatically.
