Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.2 Build 20220401 Rel. 35920

Hi

I have a three-pack Deco M4 system that appears to be working well, but regularly loses wi-fi connection to all connected clients. Sometimes it loses connection more than 4 or 5 times an hour, and I know this because my TV tells me that no network is found, and my phone and desktop computers also show no network. This lack of connection is very brief, perhaps only a few seconds, and then everything reconnects satisfactorily. It is annoying as the TV picture will sometimes freeze/lose definition, and my connection to the online apps that I use for my business keeps having to reset.

I have disabled the wi-fi option on my router, and I have regularly optimized the network, so there is no apparent interference - not sure what else I can do.

My broadband is stable with no problems (45mb download speed), so this is definitely a network connection/wi-fi issue.

Please help

@bassmanbazz Hi, welcome to the community.

Please refer to this link to turn off Fast Roaming and Mesh technology on the clients:

I see except for Deco M4, you also have a main router. Have you tried to change Deco into an access point and leave the main router the only DHCP/DNS server to see whether it helped:How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
