Hello,

I have AT&T gigapower router that I disable wifi on and connect the DECO mesh too.  I then have a secondary deco mesh next to my computer and hard wire a network cable to it.  When I run speed tests on the AT&T before disabling wifi I am getting 800-900 Mbps (using speedtest.net app).  After disabling the AT&T wifi and connecting to the DECO wifi, the best I get on the speed test is 150-200 Mbps.  If I run a speed test on my desktop that is wired to the deco (although not the primary so dependent on mesh net), I get 200-250 Mbps.  The two mesh deco units have a sight line to each other.  Are there settings I can do to the AT&T and the DECO mesh to fix this issue of low speeds?

Thanks

Pat

HI, #The two mesh deco units have a sight line to each other, I think you try to say Deco units are connected via Ethernet cable to each other, right?

Please make sure the satellite X55 is indeed on Ethernet backhaul.

Then Here are more advice:

1.  Set QOS to 1000/1000 m/s download and upload.

2.  Unplug satellite Deco X55 and connect the laptop directly to the main X55 to check the Ethernet speed again.

  @Heidi_Alp Thanks for the reply.

Directly wired into the Deco unit that is directly wired into the AT&T router gives me a speed test of 300 Mbps.  Directly wiring into the AT&T gives me 900Mbps.  I replaced the cable and still get the same results.  It is like the Deco is throttling for some reason.  And I did set the up/down to 1000 as mentioned in point 1.
