Model: Archer AX72
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.7 Build 20220401 rel.43893(4555)

Firmware Version:

1.0.7 Build 20220401 rel.43893(4555)

Hardware Version:

Archer AX72 v1.0

Morning all, I recently bought the AX72 to replace my Archer AX50, which is then connected to my Virgin Media Hub4 Router in Modem Mode. Since moving to the AX72 I have several outages a day where I can see the connection drop, tear down and release DHCP, then reconnect. Sometimes this can happen every 10-15 mins, sometimes every 6-7 hours there isn't a clear pattern. This never happened with my AX50, so can only assume its a faulty port on the AX72 or its a defect in the OS which still hasn't been fixed?

Anything more I can do or return the router for a replacement?

Thanks for your advice!

Nick

Hello Nick, please check and update the router firmware to the latest official version, which could be Archer AX72_V1_1.1.2 Build 20220520, then monitor if the issue will disappear. You can check for the updates on your router web GUI or via the Tether app, or download it from the local website and install it manually.

If the issue persists, please go through the basic troubleshooting suggestions in the following thread, then send us the system log on the router as required:
