wifi connectivity
I can connect to the internet with some devices but for some reason, my Surface laptop Windows 11 will only connect without the internet. Also if I go away with my Android phone it reconnects on return but no internet. I have to manually disconnect and reconnect a few times before it will connect with the internet. I have tried all sorts of solution off the web with no satisfaction. This problem has only come about after a few weeks of using the TPlink Archer AX72. It started off fine but this seems to have developed since.

Hi,
1. Please verify if the surface laptop is using DHCP to obtain IP address automatically, if yes and it obtains a valid IP address from the router, please try to ping 8.8.8.8 and also ping google.com on the laptop, let us know the ping results please.
2. Regarding the Android phone issue, may I know the brand and model no. of the phone?
Please go to Advanced->Wireless->Wireless Settings, try to disable TWT to see if it helps.
By the way, except for the surface laptop and Android phone, are the other wired and wireless client devices working fine with the router?

@Sunshine the android is an Oppo A74 model CPH2197. Hoever other phones do the same thing. After being idle they have to be reconnected which often takes two or three attempts. I will get back with the ping results and android setting settings

@Sunshine pings are all good. That is, while tethered to my phone which is connected to the tplink. Some ther devices cant connect either. Some have no problem. I tried and the TPlink won't recognize my Yamaha music console which is wired with ethernet. All these devices were previously connected to a Netcom router via a switch. What a waste of time and money this has been. Im ready to give up
The TWT setting was off anyway. Wired devices are all connected ok.
