Model: Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20220401 Rel. 57404(5553)

Hi there,

Please kindly help me out in resolving a problem as described below. Thanks a lot in advance.

  • I am using ArcherAX10 in Access Point mode and I have enabled the smart connect. So, I have a single SSID emitted by ArcherAX10 namely HomeNetX.
  • I would like to extend that HomeNetX with TP-Link Range Extender RE200 v4.0.

The problem is that the RE200 is unable to find the 5Ghz band of HomeNetX because I have enabled the smart connect mode in ArcherAX10.

How can i resolve this please?

And is it possible to use the RE200 as wireless access point? If it's possible how can I do it, please?

  @RKzmn

Disable Smart Connect feature and name the 5GHz SSID "HomeNetX-5G" for example - then setup the RE200 as RE on 5GHz band.

RE200 supports AP mode as well:

Here's how to setup in AP mode.
