Can TL-MR100 act as a 4G to Ethernet bridge ?
Hello,
Can TL-MR100 act as a 4G to Ethernet bridge ?
Means to say that i insert a 4G SIM and expect the data to be routed to Ethernet port.
I'm mainly interested in a device which can bridge 4G LTE to Ethernet for wired access.
Regards,
Prashanth

Hi, welcome to TP-Link Community.
TL-MR100 is a 4G modem router, it doesn't support bridge mode.
However, on 3G/4G Router mode, you could insert a 4G SIM card into the device, then other wireless and wired client devices are able to connect it via WiFi or LAN port to get internet access, is that what you need?

Thanks for the information!
Yes, you are right I want to use it a wired output (over Ethernet port) for internet connection with 4G SIM as an input.
Does the product TL-MR100 shipped to India includes the SIM slot ?

I'm interested in buying TL-MR100. Are you totally sure that on 3G/4G Router mode I'll be able to get internet access using ethernet?

Hi, yes, there are 1 LAN port and 1 LAN/WAN port on the MR100, which is to connect via Ethernet cable.
If you need more LAN ports, you could also consider other models such as TL-MR6400, Archer MR200 and Archer MR600 etc. which have 4 LAN ports(3 LAN ports and 1 LAN/WAN port)
