New Samsung A53 can't connect stable to Wifi on Deco X60, connection keeps dropping
I bought a replacement phone for my Samsung Galaxy S8, the new Galaxy A53 5G. Already out of the box performing the installation I couldn't get a connection to my Wifi Mesh network (Deco X60). Once in a while it did actually connect but not for long and when disconnected it often coulnd't reconnect again. After being very patient I finally made it through the whole setup process, but the connections still dropped.
On my S8 (still works fine apart from battery life) I have no problems at all. Also my wife's phone (S9) and my 4 daughters (S8 and 3 diffferent Iphones) experience no problems with the wifi whatsoever. All the other objects (Smart-tv, e-reader, Chromecasts, etc) work fine as do my work-laptop and my wife's. We've got the Deco X60 Mesh network running since august 2021.
Of course I tried to find out what it could be, so I ran a lot of tests, trying ever 'switch' in the settings. Because I thought my new phone was the problem I even reset it to factory default and reran the whole setup again, but still the same problem. Eventually I set up a second wifi-network with my old router and to my surprise I had no problems connecting to that wifi at all. The new A53 isn't the problem, its wifi works fine and fast (run several tests) but the connection to my Deco X60 is the problem.
I've posted this same problem on the Samsung Members forum, and a guy told me to post my problem here for he has had the exact same problem and an alternative Firmware version was the solution for him. So hopefully it will work for me to. Where can I get such alternative firmware?

I think I have lost my confidence on TP link product and will start switch away from such poor quality and no interest service attitude.
This is quite clearly TP Link issue. I have 2 x A53, 1 x A33 all having same issue with ONLY x60 mesh connection. They all work fine and compatible outside my network but in my network with 5GHz except in my apartment.
This is like buying a car that does not travel and serve it's primary purpose and the troubleshooting is just another joke. No more TP Link product for me!

I have a X60 V2 and are also having issues with WiFi dropping out on newer Samsung Phones (S20 and S21).
I have read this thread and do not see any evidence in TP-Link and Samsung collaborating in resolving the issue.
Also, as you mention replacing X60 V2 with a newer version, I get the understanding that the problem is related to a HW issue that can not be resolved, unfortunately my X60 purchase is not recently, so I cannot get it replaced at the dealership.

I was able to change my Deco X60 V2 to V3 last year and it solved the problem for a while until some firmware update messed it up again. Not sure if it was Samsung or TP-Link update.
I have noticed that my A53 is able to connect and maintain connection to my Deco X60 if there is clearly stronger signal from one of the three Deco units. The connection problems seem to start if two or three Deco units have strong signals at the same time. In our home the living room is such a place. A53 can never connect to wifi in our living room. My guess is that A53 doesn't know how to connect to mesh wifi if it receives a strong signal from multiple Deco units.

Just bought an A33 for my daughter and the X60s keep booting it off.
Ridiculous.

I also noticed this problem with my network connection, only I have a deco X20. In my living room there is no connection between my Samsung A53 and Deco, but in my bedroom I can sometimes have a connection with my deco X20. And that is usually early in the morning or late in the evening when the network is not very busy it seems. I hope there will be a solution.
