TL-MR6400 Quick Setup fails at last step

Dear Team TP-Link,
I'm having trouble getting my lovely new TL-MR6400 up and running.
In Quick Setup it passes the Internet Connection Test step with flying colours, but fails at the final, TP-Link Cloud Service Step.
It appears that I have a DNS problem as my issue exactly matches this thread:

However, I tried the suggested fix kindly posted by yourselves, but no luck, and the original posted never responded to say whether it worked for them anyway to close off the thread :-(
Any ideas?

Many thanks for the reply and the link. However, all the tips on that page appear to be to help when you can't get an internet connection.
My router reports that the internet connection is fine (albeit very slow :-)). And it also reports this in the internet checking step during Quick Setup as illustrated in my original post. However, the final step fails and it appears to be that it can't resolve addresses through DNS :-(
Any further thoughts?
