Model: Archer C6U
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.4

My setup:

On LAN I have a computer that is wired directly into it. The router is not connected to the internet, I am basically just using it as a AP. (it is controlling a computer that is connected to a telescope and there is no internet).

The way I access the computer is through my Ipad on the wifi, which works fine. On the WIFI there is also a IP camera connected.

Here comes what I dont understand. Through the wifi I can connect to both the computer on LAN and the IP camera on wifi.

The computer on the LAN, can not connect to the IP camera, it can not even ping it. If I connect the computer on LAN to the WIFI, it can connect.

Why doesn't it work LAN -> WIFI?

@ahl_

LAN -> WIFI should work because ethernet ports are bridged to the router's wireless network.

It may be due to a networks settings of your devices - for example if you set static IP addresses on some of them.

Do an experiment - set all (wired/wireless) devices to receive their IP addresses by router's DHCP server.

If you need to have some devices with a particular IP address use the DHCP Address Reservation for them.

Then reboot all devices to renew their IP addresses and test if they can see each other.

Note that PC when is connected by ethernet cable should have Private Network profile (not Public) to communicate with other devices in the LAN:
