Hi,

I bought a TL-WPA8631P KIT v3 for replacement of my old one TL-WPA4220 KIT. All is set up, but I'm trying to connect the old TL-WPA4220 Wi-Fi device as a second extender and I could only see in the app the Ethernet connection icon and the MAC ADDRESS for the Powerline and I cannot see the Wi-Fi icon & options and MAC ADDRESS. Is this a limitation or is it cloning automatically the Wi-FI of the first extender (TL-WPA8631P) without one could set it up for Wi-Fi (e.g: another SSID/Passwd)?

@MJARPB Hello,

May I know do you use WPA4220 V1 and the latest tpPLC Utility on website? You could try suggestion here:

1. If WPA4220 V1 can not see "Global" icon, please try below beta tpPLC Utility:
https://static.tp-link.com/beta/2021/202101/20210122/PowerLineUtility_beta.zip

2. If Beta uitilty does not work properly, please connect to extender's WiFi, and try " http://tplinkplclogin.net " or "http://tplinkplc.net " to login its Web management page and customize SSID from Wireless settings.

Some old version powerline extender uses http://tplinkplclogin.net to login Web, new version use http://tplinkplc.net

How to log into the web-based management interface of Powerline ac Extender (new logo)?

3. For WPA4220 V1, if you have a Win7 or Win8 computer, please install this Utility, and click on “ Connect” button to login web management page:
