Firmware Version:

I have two kits of PLCs: the TL-WPA8630P KIT and the TL-WPA8631P KIT.

Is it possible pair two differents KITS? I know that the WPA8630 can be paired with the WPA8631, but I don't know if the TL-PA8010P can be used like a receiver.

My idea is have 3 receivers (TL-WPA8630, TL-WPA8631 and one TL-PA8010P) and one transmitter (the another TL-PA8010P).

Hi,

Powerline adapters that follow the same standard (in your case HomePlug AV2) are all equal, there are no such things as "transmitter / receiver", "master / slave", "base / extender", even though you can sometimes see such terms being used by people.

Use the official pairing method to connect all four of your Powerline adapters and then relocate each of the four adapters to the planned locations in your home. Just make sure each of them has a reliable connection (i.e. the numbers next to the arrows shown in the tpPLC utility shouldn't be too low).

 Hi  @woozle ,

thank you for your quickly response.

Now I have the TL-PA8010P connected via Ethernet with the router, and the other device of the same Kit (TL-WPA8630) in the other floor of my house giving internet signal to my TV (via Ethernet) and wireless for the rest of devices (Laptop, iPhone, etc...).

I thought I couldn't connect the other TL-PA8010P to use it as an "internet power supply" (via Ethernet) for my desktop computer. I thought the TL-PA8010P had to be connected with the router... That is my doubt...
