Hello,

 

I tried log into C58HP administration page after opening http://tplinkwifi.net/

It asks for a password and I entered the right password. (Please note that I created this password using Tether mobile application)

 

But, even after typing in the correct password, I could not login. The page just stays as it is and does not open the administration pages.

 

I tried to see what is happening behind the scenes by opening "Network" tab in "Chrome Developer Tools" debugger.

 

Here is what I saw when I clicked on Login button after entering the password:

Please note that I get "Status Code: 500 Internal Server Error" for the correct password as well as wrong password.

Please help me log into my router. I'm unable to perform advanced configuration using Tether.

Hard rest (method 1) the device, then login via the Web GUI. Change the password and try to login again via Web GUI.

If the problem persists then update the FW  (even with the same version) and after that hard reset (method 1) the device, change the password and try login again.

@rsrs I am getting the same and unfortunately, no one from TP link has been able to help. The only way to fix it is to reset the router every time you want to change the setting.
