@JabeSmith I could install the utility but it does not find my TL-WPA7510 v2.0

I can use an Android phone and type the ip address of the powerline, Android works, windows doesn't.

It would be great for TP-Link to fix this issue, please notify me when a fix is found.

Same problem with me, I have installed the new power line utility but it does not find any powerline devices.

With this utility not working, these things are not possible anymore:

Firmware upgrade (or downgrade)

QOS  settings on powerline adapters

verify powerline speed between adapters

Although, I today installed a version published on 2020-11-27 of the powerline utility found on the global website on a computer where it never was installed before

It asked me to install the WinPcap 4.1.3 as an additional tool (from Riverbed Technology, Inc) and after I started the tpPLC utility, it did not find any powerline adapter but a few seconds later, they were found and I was prompted by Windows 10 Defender Firewall to allow the tpPLC Utility to communicate with my network.

It looks like this works indeed. So if you struggle with the utility, kill everything that came with the old version, download the new version and see if this also works for you. I verfied my findings on my 2nd computer that could not see any PLC devices by updating the tpPLC utility, so I deleted the utility and removed the cap program from another vendor (maybe this is all you need to do?), did a new installation, let it install WinPcap 4.1.3 and voilà, it also works now on the 2nd computer of mine :).

I did not change the date on my computer, I simply downloaded their official version I found on the global website, this is the version that worked for me:

Published Date: 2020-11-27 Language: Multi-language File Size: 78.83 MB

Operating System: Win2000/XP/2003/Vista/7/8/8.1/10

Modification and bug fixes:
1. Supported higher resolution
2. Compatible with more PLC models

@Startscreen

Hi,

I would see from the last post the issue could be fixed via the new installation of the latest utility.

So after a week, did the same issue start again?

If yes, can I have some pictures?

By the way, what is the model number of your powerline adapters(AV600 is not the model), like TL-WPA4220KIT?

And how about the hardware version, like V1 or V4?

If it is the V1 and the current issue is that there is no ‘global icon’ for web interface, please have a try at this version:

Thank you very much.

@JabeSmith

Hi, I have the tpPLC utility working today on Win 10 but don't know how to interpret the result.

Can anyone tell me what it means please?

This is the latest 11/2020 version utility using Win10Pcap-v10.2-5002

When I look in my smart phone wifi settings, should I be able to identify the tp-powerline adapter or will I just see the router?
