Wireless Configuration Utility for Windows 10
Windows 10 64bit
I purchased and installed a TL-WN881ND PCI-Express adaptor. It works fine and I can connect to wifi using the standard windows method - i.e. Control Panel. (Driver version : 2023.55.415.2017; 18/05/17)
I'm trying to install the Configuration Utility program in order to have access to signal strength etc. etc. but any program I've tried to install fails either during installation or upon running. I've tried installing the program that worked on Windows 7 (setting it to Windows 7 compatibility) but that fails also.
Thanks in advance.

You can try to use the wireless configuration utility for other products.

If still the same, there is not much we can do. You can detect the signal strength via some 3rd party programme.
Good day.

@Kevin_Z No luck I'm afraid. Tried others (including my old one which was a different card) and even tho' they ran, they all failed to recognize the card. No worries, I can live without it.

I see, thanks for your reply.
You can try to use 3rd party programme to achieve your needs. Or you can let it go.
Good day.
