I recently bought and setup my RE305 ac 1200. My router has 2.4G and 5G wifi with different subnet respectively. 2.4G is supposed to get 10.0.0.x and 5G to get 192.168.1.x The strange thing is all devices connected to RE305 2.4G network always get 192.168.1.x when it is supposed to get 10.0.0.x. when connected to the extended network with the same ssid as the original. I think the reason is because RE305 becomes a dhcp server itself so I want to disable it however there is no option to do this on RE305 setup page. How can I fix this?

Good day.

Sorry for the delay.

For the range extender, it does not support different multiple IP ranges.

And the default DHCP IP range would be 192.168.0.xxx, when RE itself worked as a DHCP server.

So I think it might not be the DHCP server issue.

In order to get more details, after setup, have you seen both 2.4ghz and 5ghz lit up on the RE305, or just 5ghz?

By the way, what is the model number of your home router?

If that is the case, then I also think now that it is not dhcp issue.

You are right, I just noticed that only 5ghz is lit up. Why is that? The extender is connecting and extending both networks as shown below:

My home router model is TP-Link N600 (TL-WDR3600 v1) running OpenWrt 19.07.2 r10947-65030d81f3 / LuCI openwrt-19.07 branch git-20.057.55219-13dd17f
