Just subscribing to this thread.
Just another data point,
I have mr600 v1, Firmware version 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n
On Airtel, I can only get CA to work on Band 3 and 40.
On idea(UP West), I haven't been able to get CA to work at all. It only uses Band 3. On my phone(Poco F1) CA on Idea cellular was working fine.
On Jio, I haven't been able to get CA to work at all. It only uses Band 3 or Band 40. Although, Right now, It's not working on my phone either.

Since Idea Celluar(or Vi) here only supports Band 3 and Band 41. Is CA possible on Band 3 + Band 41 on this router? I tried to figure it out by going through couple of threads here and I can't figure out if it is supported or not?

Model: Archer MR600

Hi Support, @Sunshine
Bought TP Link Archer MR600 from Amazon. Since 18th Septmember 2020, have started using it.
I am from Chennai, India and Airtel is my ISP whcih supports CA. Few of the times i can see the 4G+ light is on and found Band 3 and Band 40 are put together.
That time the speed i am getting from MR600 is around 40 to 50 Mbps. However, in Oneplus 7T with the same ISP with 4G+ signal i am getting 65 to 75 Mbps.
Also the 4G+ sign is not holding for much time. Only for few mins, around 5 mins or so and never coming back untill it restarts. Whereas in mobile it's consistantly in 4G+ with great speed.
In normal case i am only getting band 40 with speed of 20 to 25 Mbps.
I was looking to the posts in the forum and found the below link with similar case. Applied the settings.
https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/226784
However no result of getting 4G+ sign and speed by combining Band 3 and 40 on consistant basis. The issue remains same.
Also the speed, post applying the Firmware which was provided in the link is coming 30 to 35 Mbps. whearas when the 4G+ was coming in latest firmware is 40 to 50 Mbps.
Feeling dishearten by purcasing this MR600 unit. There is no point of purchasing this 4G+ model if this does not work.
Thanks to @Rajiv.R and @Abhi093 for the deatiled explanation and the requirments that we need.
I am aware others are also requesting to update the firmware for both Jio and Airtel ISP so that it would be greatly help us.
Please take necessary and corrective measures to provide the solution at the earliest.
Thank you and regards,
Debatosh Kamila

@Debatosh hi Debatosh,
Even I was unable to keep the CA3+40 in jio for more than 2 mins with beta software.
I am utterly disappointed with this buggy firmware and support for the MR600 . Hardware is capable and good, the firmware that TP Link is unable to maintain. Infact it's their 1st Carrier Aggregation router in the market. If you want cat6 I would suggest to go for Huawei B525s-65a which is a full band support router. But it's not available in India .you have to import . There are other good models available too . But it's the only cat6 available in India within the reach so they are charging it quite high.

I was able to test MR600 with a Parabolic Grid 24dbi (1700-2700) MIMO Borrowed from a friend this morning. We pointed the Antenna to a mast ~3km from my house. I was able to pull a good download speed. It was not the peak hours though . results below. I would suggest not to buy Antennas by paying hefty price. Rather go for any mimo 9-12 dbi Antenna for MR600 if you have acceptable signals outdoors. Point to closest signal source and enjoy. The disappointed is the immature firmware that TP link developers should look into with importance. I am really frustrated and also many others like me in India and around the world. Waiting for improvements in your Firware to maintain a stable CA that the router is meant for. Question to TP Link. : HOW LONG TO WAIT ? ARE YOU HEARING US ? @Sunshine @Kevin_Z

Hi @Abhi093,
Thank you for your reply and your insight.
Yeah, had a search for Cat6 modem before puchasing MR600. In this covid situation if the import would have been in time or not thatwhy i had not gone with other option and stick with the products which are already avilable. I don't have option now to return this back.
I believe TP-Link would be coming out with solution for us by providing us latest updated firmware. Just finger crossed.
Lets wait and hope for the best.
Thank you and regards,

@Debatosh we have one solution "wait with patience". Hardware is great the only problem with the firmware. A stable Firware is the need of the hour.
Stay safe.
