Our Range Extender is not connecting with the modem, which is on the same corridor, 8 metres away, with no obstructions or walls in between. We try to connect it and after a few seconds, we get a red light which, according to the manual, means unable to connect. If we take the range extender 1 metre away from the modem, it connects perfectly fine. Does this range extender gives you a 1 metre of extension or we're not setting up properly?
