Purchased the extender in July and has been working fine, but is now not allowing any connection to it. Phones identify it in settings and show a strong signal but no connection can be made. The password is correct and this happens on all phones and laptops. We have tried rebooting the router, moving the extender to new locations and restarting, all to no avail. Yesterday undertook a reset of the extender, and now will not link to the router even when plugged in next to it. If it is of help the s/n is 22330s9000140 uk/1.0

After resetting the RE700X you should be able to configure it from scratch refering this video guide.

If you're extending over 5GHz band, make sure that your main router transmits on a lower wireless channel (36 for example).
