I have 3 Deco m4 on my house.

For the last month everything was just great 1000/200 on speeetest. But today i am getting 94/94.... this is very annoying because this device is not cheap and it looks to have a lot of problems.

I rebooted a lot of times and nothing changes.

Please someome help me fix this

@TP-Link Is there an official fix already? I have the same problem...Some users got the firmware 1.5. Mi deco`s are still on 1.43 since many months and it always says they are up to date. How can i fix this????

My 3 Deco`s are M4R v2.0 . All of the 1.4.3 Build 20200918 Rel. 74289

Wifi works at maximum speed (300mbs). Wired is limited to 100mbs.

@AlexSilver

Hi, firmware 1.5.0 has been withdrawn from official websites for further optimization.

Currently, 1.4.3 build 20200918 is the latest firmware for Deco M4 v1/v2.

As for your current issue” Wi-Fi works at maximum speed (300mbs). Wired is limited to 100mbs.”, they might be three possibilities:

1. the port rate on Deco dropped to 100m/s.

2. the Ethernet cable is only up to 100m/s.

3. the Ethernet adapter of the tested laptop is only up to 100m/s.

In case It is the last two issues, please test with a different laptop with a brand new cat6/7 cable.

After that, if the issue still existed, please send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com about your current issue.

I checked again and unfortunatelly it doesn't work again :(

Even after rebooting all devices.

Also I did a test. I set QoS to 50 (download) / 10 (upload) Mb/s, did a reboot and test the speed (my Internet is 600/50).

Result: 94 / 50

Any thoughs?

@Grzegorz_S

Hi, have you tried the beta firmware here to see whether it helped or not:

[Solution] Wi-Fi speed drops down after updating Deco M4 to the latest 1.5.0 firmware

@TP-Link

I am having the exact same problem. My 3 pack deco M4R V3 running 1.5.1 Build 20210512 Rel. 39021 caps at 100 mbps even though my ISP service speed is 300mbps. Checked the 300mbps speeds connecting lan to my laptop directly. However, over deco the speed is capped at 90-100 mbps. Please help me.

@PavanKumar try to put the operation mode of M4 from Router to Access Point, it works for me, i have a 1gbps broadband connection and the M4 in Router lode only gave me 200Mbps, but with that change, gave me 600Mbps-700Mbps
