Deco M4 - speed capped at 100Mbps
Hi
I've been using Deco M4 since 5 months.
The setup was:
Broadband modem ==> Deco M4 1st unit ==> Deco M4 2nd unit.
Earlier my broadband was only 100Mbps and later I've upgraded it to 200Mbps.
My broadband modem and Deco M4 1st unit is connected using a Cat 6 ethernet cable. But still the maximum speed I'm receiving is capped at 100Mbps via Deco.
When I directly connect to my broadband modem then I'm receiving speeds upto 200Mbps.
Followed the troubleshooting steps on Deco but it didn't help!
Thanks

@jamieandrew20 I have the M4 system, one plugged into the main router and two wireless. With the same issue and won't go above 100mb.

If you just got M4, you probably still have your old router around.
Undo network changes you did for Deco, bring old router back and set it as it were before Decos.
Power off all Satellite Decos.
Connect Main Deco to router.
Change Deco Operation Mode to Access Point.
Connect laptop to second port of Main Deco.
Run speedtest from laptop.
If you are still not getting better than 100Mbps, it is possible you have Deco E4 instead of Deco M4. They look very similar but E4 has 100Mbps Ethernet ports, M4 has gigabit ports.
If you'll get full speed of 300Mbps, you'll know there is something in M4 configuration settings when you run Deco in Router mode, and you could focus your attention there.

Hi, I have the same issue.
I have two M4R. Main is connected directly to ISP modem. The second is connected with the main over WiFi.
Model: Deco M4R
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.4.3 Build 20200918 Rel. 74289
QoS is set to 1000/1000.
When I connect laptop directly to the ISP modem I get proper speed: ~600/50.
When I set up mesh network and do the test I get 100/50 no matter if I'm connected to the main Deco over cable or WiFi!!
It starts working correctly when I plug the satellite Deco out and do a reboot.
Let me see how long it will work that way.
Edit. After ~1h speed goes down to 100/50.
Even with one Deco there is an issue with this limit.
Any suggestion?

Thank you very much and I got your message.
For your case, May I have a picture of your floor map about the location of Deco units?
And the Deco is working on the wireless router mode, right?
Can I have some pictures of the speed-test results?
By the way, have you even checked the speed-test on the Deco APP when the devices are all capped to 100m/s?
Thank you.

This is my setup (the wall between rooms is quite thick):
Speed tests:
Connected directly to IPS modem (cable):
Deco system (before reboot, with satelite Deco plugged out):
WiFi (with cable it is the same result)
Deco system (after reboot, with satelite Deco plugged out):
WiFi:
Wired:
Those high speed results last for an hour. After that the speed goes down to ~100.
And yes, I'm in router mode.
I will switch to access point mode and see how it behaves.

I switched to the access point mode but it behaves completely unpredictable. First worked with the expected speed (more than 100), then (after a few hours) went down to ~90 (download speed) and even after a few reboots still worked with ~90.
After that I changed to router mode, first test showed ~400 download speed, the next one ~90...
I totally confused.
The tests were done on three different devices and all of them gave similar results.
