I have a Powerline extension socet on house mains to provide 3 wired ethernet connections to the following smart devices:-

Smart TV

YouView Box

Internet Radio

Now I want to add a a PVR which also needs a wired ethernet connection.

Can I use a 5 port Gigabite Switch to get the extra ethernet connection to PVR?

If so, what model do I need to buy?

My local currys offers TL SG105D and TL105E

TP Link website lists   TL SG 105  and  TL SG 105S  (not 105D)

@Midori

Hello, you can get a gigabit ethernet switch to offer extra wired connections. There is no TL-SG105D, I guess it should be TL-SG1005D.

Actually there is no big difference among the four switches you list. They all unmanaged gigabit switch. And all of them can satisfy your needs. You can choose one of them.
