@DenniSundaY That happens to me frequently with the two Iphone's at home. And if I look for the DECO LINKED option it tells me: Not available for current firmware. This does not happen with Samsung etc. In short with those who use Android system.

@Rioja after 1.4.2 I don't experience "not available for current firmware" anymore. But then again, if it doesn't show in the list I can't even look what is says . But good to know it only happens on iPhones.

I have 2x Deco M5 (V3 1.3.4 Build 20191012 Rel. 52072) and 2x Deco M9 (V2 1.2.10 Build 20190809 Rel. 54285).
I have tried almost everything to update my Decos. With M9 it should be possible with a USB stick but nothing happened. I cannot open the web gui. The Deco app keeps saying that my Decos are up-to-date.
Can someone tell me how I can get the update done?

Hello, the Deco M9 plus has the latest firmwaer; if you want to update the firmware of the Deco M5, you can connect the Deco M5 to the modem directly and configure it as the main router to give it a go.
And the USB sharing function for Deco M9 plus is not available yet.
Good day.

The new firmware will be released once it is ready, while the estimated release time is unsure. You can keep an eye on the Deco app or the official website.
Any updates, we will keep you posted in time.
Thanks for your kindly understanding and support in advance. Good day.

@Kevin_Z Hi Kevin,
Did some testing with 1.4.2:
prior to the patch i was on 1.3, my pathping showed approximately 1 request timed out every 2-3 minutes, spikes in latency to 100+ every 40ish seconds, spikes in latency to 300+ around every minute.
After the 1.4.2 update, it appears the request timed out has disappeared completely, however, the latency spikes remain, which still makes the internet very unstable, especially for gaming.
Hopefully this can be addressed in futher updates.
**** Edit ****Did some additional testing over the past few days, even though the pathping request timed out is gone, this didnt change anything, drop outs still happen while gaming, namingly wow, overwatch, fortnite etc. Tried with mobile 4g, no issues, tried with old modem/router, no issues. Definitely a deco thing, hopefully this can be fixed soon or i'll need to return them, literally impossible to game in it.

I have some problem with my deco M5.
The main deco is V3.0 and others is V3.0 and V2.1, firmware is 1.3.14 Build 20191109 Rel. 66552.
But in web UI, I found the deco m5 which is V2.1 shows model (V1.0), is that normal or correct?
But when the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz is auto changing, the internet will be unstable, also will be cut off.
When sys log appear user.info root: luci_app:guest-eth guest network need set vlan state fals, the internet will be unstable....
Does these problems have been fixed in firmware 1.4.2?
Thx a lot!

@Kevin_Z I noticed some additional major issues these few weeks. There are disconnections occuring for all my other devices, there would be frequent drop outs from TV, printer and mobiles phones on the wifi network. These dropouts occured after the upgrade from 1.3.1 to 1.4.2, it seems the update made things even worse on top of the existing issues.
