Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 3.20.1 Build 200316 Rel.34392n (4555)

After upgrading the router's firmware to : 3.20.1 Build 200316 Rel.34392n (4555)

The wifi speed went drastically down .. I used to get ~45 Mbps download, upload (I have a 50mbps plan which provides me with more than 45mbps speed)and now

(31.6 Down - 17.35 Up )

Not only that , I now experience ping spike during gaming (from 50ms --> 1200) along with ocassional packet losses

I used the official firmware from the device's page yet I experience such issue !

And also , this is the result of " ping 192.168.0.1 -t "

Kindly help me with that .

Hello, thanks for reporting the speed issue you encountered on the router, please help confirm more details and we will try to figure it out:

1. Except for the router firmware update, is there any other change or modification in your network, such as adding a new device to the network, or updating the device system/version?

2. Are the speed differences tested when the computer is connected to the router with a cable or via Wi-Fi? How about the link speed on the computer? Below is the guide to check that:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2899/

Note: wireless link speed is the same, you may find Wireless network Connection.

3. Try to hard reset the router by holding the reset button/hole for 10s with the router powered on, then reconfigure it from scratch to confirm.

Thanks.
