Archer c6 "no internet access" and sometime not connecting to the wifi saying "limited connection"
I've faced basiccally two kind of problems. Am I received a faultly product?
- Sometimes in some of my connected devices showing "no internet access" but at the same time the other routers connceted with same internet have internet access.
- Sometimes Some device could not connected to the router but the wifi are showing in the list. After some time of tring it show "limited connection" even I'm setting beside the router.
Every time at the time of problem I instantly connected to my another router which is tplink TL-WR841N, connected to the main WAN and that was working perfectly. Archer c6 is connected with the WR841n with wire and dynamic IP setup.
The problem always fixed every time after restart the router. I need to restart the router almost two to three times a day which the other one is on from long time. I've even forgot when I've turned off my WR841N.
Does I've received a faulty archer c6.

Is the DoS Protection level set on High or Middle? What if you change it to Low, will it still block the internet access on that special device?

In my case the DOS Protection level is set to HIGH, but I have tested with LOW as well. When the DOS Protection Level is set to low for all the 3 sub items , the devices are still blocked.

@Kevin_Z It's really got something with VPN connection or MS Teams application!
I have disconnected the VPN while in a MS Teams call and the internet stopped working.

Hi there,
I have Archer C6 and experience problems with dropping from 2.4 GHz network at least ones a day. I dig through forums and applied solutions like you mention here in your post from Septembers 17-th 2020, but with no result. I limit channels to 5, 6 11 and other, also limit the with to 20MHz. I also did the same to 5GHz - again no results. I tried with disabling 2.4 GHz gust network - with different combination with other settings and again not solved. I am running later firmware for EU 1.3.6. Applaying some screen shots.

@SubhX Thank you for posting! I have been experiencing this issues ever since I pirchased this router!
Id really appreciate it if TP link addresses the ongoing issues with iPhones connecting to the archer c6.
I have updated, downgraded, reboot, reset to factory and reconfigure, made recommended configs to no avail. Reboot addressed the issue only for a few hours then bam no internet or the device doesn't connect the the wifi at all!
Please fix this issue.
