Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.4.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 180712 Rel.61343n

Hi

I was trying to setup my TLMR3420 for using my Transcend Storejet 1 TB HDD as NAS. The router didnt recognize the drive. I then used a pen drive of 4gb capacity, which it detected. Now is it because the 1TB HDD is on a NTFS file mode and the pen drive is on the FAT32 system? Can that be a problem?

Any help is most useful as if I cannot solve this problem, my money goes down the drain

@Oza

As the user manual, the TL-MR3420 V5 supports  FAT32 and NTFS both.

For the capacity the router supports, we need confirm it first.

Any updates, we will let you know.

Good day.

@Oza

Thanks for your waiting, we did a test at our lab, the 1TB HDD can be detected by the MR3420 V5.

Back to your case, we can do further troubleshooting.

Is it the first time you use the HDD with the MR3420? Or it was working well earlier?

With the HDD connected to the computer directly, does it work? Can it be recognized?

What is the model number of it? And is external power supply needed?

Try to change another 1TB HDD to give it a go as well.
