I see, thanks for your reply.
Cause the error code cannot be fixed via hard reset or reboot; to solve this issue quickly, it is suggested to contact the retailer or the local tech support to check the warranty and get a new one.

Hello, have you ever tried to change another web browser or power cycle this Archer VR2800?
Meanwhile, does the error message exist under basic-wireless settings and advanced-wireless settings page both?
Try to hard reset the router by holding the reset button/hole for 10s with router powered on.
And please ensure that the firmware is up to date.
Good day.

@Kevin_Z I have used the reset button a couple of times, as well as turning power off and on - makes no difference. I have also tried to set up a 2.4GHz netwrk in both the basic and advanced setting. No change with Internal Error 1 followed by Unknown Error 80002 which results in no network appearing. When I first set up the modem yesterday my 2.4 network was accessible but after an hour or two disappeared with subsequent attamptes to reinstate it giving the error messages. Meanwhile the 5 GHz network is working OK - no problems.
I am including 3 screen shots of the setting in boththe Basic and Advanced sections.
My feeling is that there is an internal problem with the modem and the 2.4GHz area has failed - but if there is something obviously wrong in the setup I haven't spotted I will be delighted not to have to return the modem/router. Fortunately I did set up the 5GHz side to cover g, n and ac so my wife's ancient laptop still connects.
cheers, Mike
