I'll bet my left nut that it isn't the router, but rather Windows causing issues. I had this issue as well.
Try this;
1) Open the command prompt (cmd) as admin and type netsh winsock reset catalog - Hit Enter.
2) Now type netsh int ip reset reset.log hit - Hit Enter.
3) Restart computer.
4) Open device manager, find your network card, select properties and find power managenet. De-tick "allow windows to turn off this device".

Hi,
Regarding to the unstable connection issue, Have you setup different wifi name for it?
Besides, it is suggested to troubleshoot and narrow down the root cause as below instruction: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2233/
Meanwhile, we need get some details:
1. The stability of the wired connection, whether you can get internet from the 941HP all the time?
2. What is the IP/default gateway you obtained when it lost connection? https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/838/
3. Whether you can get internet from the main router when 941HP stops working?
Good day.
