How to get sound onto my Headset/Mic & Speakers

Hello,
As of right now im Running my Xbox to the Monitor and using a 3.5mm cable from that monitor to my PC via Line In; and Out through a Y Splitter with the Green Headset rear 3.5mm Jack.
I tried to do the Setero Mix option, but it makes it to where i only here out of one.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
