New Samsung A53 can't connect stable to Wifi on Deco X60, connection keeps dropping
I bought a replacement phone for my Samsung Galaxy S8, the new Galaxy A53 5G. Already out of the box performing the installation I couldn't get a connection to my Wifi Mesh network (Deco X60). Once in a while it did actually connect but not for long and when disconnected it often coulnd't reconnect again. After being very patient I finally made it through the whole setup process, but the connections still dropped.
On my S8 (still works fine apart from battery life) I have no problems at all. Also my wife's phone (S9) and my 4 daughters (S8 and 3 diffferent Iphones) experience no problems with the wifi whatsoever. All the other objects (Smart-tv, e-reader, Chromecasts, etc) work fine as do my work-laptop and my wife's. We've got the Deco X60 Mesh network running since august 2021.
Of course I tried to find out what it could be, so I ran a lot of tests, trying ever 'switch' in the settings. Because I thought my new phone was the problem I even reset it to factory default and reran the whole setup again, but still the same problem. Eventually I set up a second wifi-network with my old router and to my surprise I had no problems connecting to that wifi at all. The new A53 isn't the problem, its wifi works fine and fast (run several tests) but the connection to my Deco X60 is the problem.
I've posted this same problem on the Samsung Members forum, and a guy told me to post my problem here for he has had the exact same problem and an alternative Firmware version was the solution for him. So hopefully it will work for me to. Where can I get such alternative firmware?

Thank you very much for the feedback.
Could you please help me run the following test:
Please keep 2.4ghz/5ghz enabled on the host network; then enable the guest network for 5ghz with NO Security and connect A53 to the guest network.
Then test whether it could improve the stability.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Same unstable connection. Disconnects constantly.
Reconnecting is faster though, but I assume since there are no credentials.

Hello David, I'm encountering the same issues with my dad's a53.
The router is running Deco X60 V2.14.3
The a53 is running android 12 with One UI version 4.1
Baseband: A536BXXU2AVG1.
We have one other samsung phone and a samsung tv and both are wroking perfectly fine on the network.
The a53 is currently on the guest network set to 2.4 ghz while the main network remains 2.4/5 ghz.
There is a macbook available in this household.
I'm looking forward to your reply.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.
the previous feedback is all about Deco X60 V2, and I see your model is Deco X60 V3(2.14.3 is the Deco APP version).
I have forwarded your case to the senior engineers and please check whether you have got an email from us.
Thank you again.
Best regards.

I am also experiencing the same issue (disconnecting/not stable connection) as everyone else with the A53... My other devices are perfectly fine tho...
Tried the 5 Network & 2.4 Guest and does not work as designed.
Deco:
AX3000 Deco X60
V2.14.3
Wondering if I should go to memory express and just buy a different brand.. this is quite the headache..

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.
After further cooperation with some users, we currently suspect that a certain wireless patch on the Samsung A53 is causing the disconnection.
Since other Samsung phones/TVs are working fine with Deco X60, we hope you could report this issue to Samsung support as well to see if they can provide some useful details to finally locate the problem.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
