Archer C6 - No access to internet when connected to Android TV [Mi TV 4A Pro]
Archer C6 - No access to internet when connected to Android TV [Mi TV 4A Pro]
Router : Archer C6.
The wifi connection works fine on mobiles, laptops connected to it.
My macbook is using the 5GHz and has no issues. I also tried 2.4 GHz on macbook and the connection speed was around 55 Mbps.
But, when I connect my android TV to wifi (2.4 GHz), the tv shows the WiFi connected Logo but when I open Youtube App or Amazon Prime App on my TV, the videos don't load and it shows a message that network not available.
TV model is Mi Tv 4A Pro. The TV takes only 2.4 GHz.
I have a 125 Mbps internet plan.
The location of TV is just 3 meters away from router.
Country : India
Main Question : Is my router blocking the internet access to my Android TV ?

Have you tried to change the default ISP DNS to something different and see if that can resolve the issue:
Reboot the router after making this change.

@nitiz99 same issue here, Mi Tv 4A here clogging my 2.4ghz network somehow, while 5ghz works fine.
Ping and jitter skyrockets on all devices connected to 2.4ghz and speed drops to <1mbps on 300mbps connection.
Tried connecting TV to guest network 2.4ghz with AP isolation but didnt help.
Not sure what the hell is up with Mi TV firmware, I tried everything from router side but it doesnt seems to resolve, toggling wifi on TV helps.
Does anyone know how to get debug logs from router to review them while the issue appears? @Kevin_Z any idea? TIA

@harshaG changing DNS, toggling wifi on TV or rebooting router are temporary fix, issue reappears in a day.
I have tested almost everything but issue reappears.
I just disabled WMM feature on 2.4ghz and testing it out, one plus point seems to be is the throughput on 2.4ghz went up drastically after disabling WMM, i'll keep you posted regarding the 2.4ghz clogging issue by TV.
