Archer c6 "no internet access" and sometime not connecting to the wifi saying "limited connection"
I've faced basiccally two kind of problems. Am I received a faultly product?
- Sometimes in some of my connected devices showing "no internet access" but at the same time the other routers connceted with same internet have internet access.
- Sometimes Some device could not connected to the router but the wifi are showing in the list. After some time of tring it show "limited connection" even I'm setting beside the router.
Every time at the time of problem I instantly connected to my another router which is tplink TL-WR841N, connected to the main WAN and that was working perfectly. Archer c6 is connected with the WR841n with wire and dynamic IP setup.
The problem always fixed every time after restart the router. I need to restart the router almost two to three times a day which the other one is on from long time. I've even forgot when I've turned off my WR841N.
Does I've received a faulty archer c6.

@SubhX I have been able to identify the problem, so I have two routers, one is connected with co-axial cable(1st Router) and I run my internet through Archer C6.(2nd Router) Whenever there is slight disconnection of internet( even for a second) in first router, I have to restart Archer C6 as it shows limited connectivity( internet through 1st Router is fine). So, I took a restart of 1st Router and then Archer C6 again shows limited connectivity.
In short, Whenever there is a slight disconnection of internet on Archer C6, it behaves this way.

I bought this router 2 weeks ago, the issue is there from day 1, changing the position or a cooling fan doesn't help.

According to the ping result, the device is connected to the network fine and connected to the internet successfully.
If the 5G connection sometimes not stable, please try my previous suggestions that modify the 5G wireless settings on the C6, such as wireless channel and channel width. It is suggested to run a Wi-Fi analyzer to find a clear channel, then change the channel width to 40MHz, reboot the router and reconnect to the wireless network, then confirm.

If Your router does have nat boost and airtime fairness functionality, then try to disable them.

Well if the internet connection is there for the device with IP ending 161, why the device shows no internet?, disconnecting from the wifi in the client side is not helping.
5Ghz Bandwidth is set to 40Mhz, and there is only once device in the currently configured channel.
I am not convinced with the workarounds as nothing helps to resolve the "No Internet" issue , the issue is still at large.
Is these routers passed the quality check and released to market? or is the QA responsibility passed to end users?

Hi, see my last comment from this topic, few messages ahead; I suggest you to change the channel allocation from AUTO to an explicit value, both for 2.4G and 5G WiFi.
I did this 1 month ago I never faced the reported problem since and I had not used a beta firmware but the latest official 1.3.6 in my case.

@3ESV your firmware seems to be an old version, i.e. 1.0.5 -> I suggest you to check for latest official one and deploy it, might solve few problems.
My settings are as attached pictures. I've scheduled router restart around 5AM when definitely I don't need access for 1 minute.
