I have a problem with my be550 router, Amazon Echo Pop, Spot, and Dot 5 devices keep disconnecting after the router is restarted. I need to restore the settings to factory defaults and configure them again to stop disconnecting. This happens with just one device or in a mesh with 3 units, and with the latest firmware and this beta.
My solution was to connect these devices to my ISP router and use the Be550 for the others.
To maintain stability and connected devices I need to return to factory defaults. If the power goes out or there is a need to restart, Amazon devices start connecting and disconnecting after a few minutes, there is no solution in the wifi settings that will return it to normal, only return to factory defaults.

I'm a little disappointed due to the amount of money spent and the problems.

@Legalmap So only the Amazon devices are affected, right? I believe these devices are connecting to the 2.4G network. Once the BE550 restarted, how often do the Amazon devices disconnect and reconnect? Is there any specific activity that triggers the disconnection?
Are there other devices also connecting to the 2.4G network but working fine?
When you only connect one BE550, does the issue persist? Are you enabling Smart Connect on the BE550? What if you disable it and create different SSIDs for the 2.4G and 5G networks?
When there are 3 EasyMesh routers in the network, how are they connected, via Ethernet or wireless?

Hi there, I experience the same on the BE550 across iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro and 16 Pro.
Do you mean these iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro, and 16 Pro also keep disconnecting once the BE550 gets restarted and you need to reset it to factory defaults?
Could you please also provide more details about the issue you're experiencing? You may also check my responses to Legalmap. Thank you.

I've found the lastest beta great ....
25 devices
Apple and Samsung and generic lot devices and smart TV's
Mlo and 6g and smart connect for 2.4and 5g
May I suggest you check the local restrictions for channels this maybe the underlying problem
And do a channel strength test and then lock down the channels this can help a bunch I've got a polk smart speaker with Alexa built in which had issues till I sorted this .....to be honest I'm really impressed with the speed and locking into devices my previous units were asus and needed heaps of tweaking ....also try the lot network with the base security the wpa 3 can casues issues in different countries with restrictions on frequency and the devices not getting enough air time

I have two BE550 routers (both v1, on the test firmware) and one BE230 (on the latest official firmware) in a mesh setup; the BE550s have wireless backhaul, while the BE230 has wired backhaul.
Everything is working flawlessly for over a week, really happy here.
PS Would be absolutely brilliant if satellite devices supported Multi Link Operation, too.

@Kevin_Z S25 Ultra also got random disconnections after update the beta firmware when using MLO SSID.
Same problem on S24 Ultra over half year ago.

Only Amazon devices disconnect when restarting for the first time after configuration. The disconnection is constant, and only stops when resetting the Be550 to factory defaults. I've tried with just one Be550 unit or a mesh network, I've tried separating the 2.4 or 5ghz networks or smart connect, the result is the same, constant disconnections after restarting the first time, it enters the 2.4 network and leaves, enters the 5g and leaves, and it stays like that, these devices stop responding or become slow because the network is not stable.
I have several devices, including security cameras and smart plugs that use the 2.4 network only and remain normal after restarting the modem, the problem is only with the Amazon Echo devices.
My 3 Be550s are connected via easymesh, but that's not the problem, since it persists with only 1 unit.
I had ax6000 v1 and everything worked perfectly.

@Legalmap Thank you very much for the detailed information again.
Did the issue occur when you were running the previous official version 1.1.1 Build 20241230, or did it arise after installing the provided pre-release firmware here?
When the Amazon devices connect, leave, and then reconnect, how is the wireless signal strength of the BE550, is the signal strong enough to establish a connection? Or in other words, is the signal similar to that after you reset the BE550?
If you disable EasyMesh on the BE550, will the Amazon Devices connect properly?
Please perform a simple test, you can enable a Reboot Schedule on the BE550 to restart it, then check if the Amazon devices will connect properly after the restart.

@LCL9528 Do the S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra connect properly when connecting to the main 5G/6G network (not the MLO Network)?
Before upgrading to this pre-release firmware, do they connect properly to the MLO network?
