Archer AXE5400 Router - Connecting to Full Fibre Plusnet Service
Help. I'm trying to replace my Plusnet Hub2 router with the AXE75. But when I susbtitute the AXE I cannot connect to the broadband service. I can access the AXE75 and change settings, but nothing I have tried is getting the flow in from the fibre line to my router.
As I'm on full fibre I have a BTOpenreach ONT on the wal and connect with ethernet cable to the WAN port on my AXE (just the same as the Plusnet Hub2). Wifi picks up mesh devices and connects to all my devices. Just no internet connectivity.
Anyone got any ideas? Or do I need to get Plusnet to do something?
TIA

Hi,
Theoretically it should work after you have configured the Internet connection settings of the AXE75 as per the section "What settings should I use for a fibre router that's connected to a BT Openreach modem?" of this website https://www<dot>plus<dot>net/help/broadband/broadband-connection-settings/ (replace <dot> with .)

Hi,
According to a post on plusnet community page
This should be what you need to get it up and running
If you've already done this then I'd advise turning off the modem and the router then turn on the modem then the router then see if that sorts it

Thanks for the responses guys. Consistent answers too! 😂😂
Tried again and got credentials right. I was missing out the "@"plusdsl.<dot>net extension after my username. Plusnet paperwork doesn't include so I just followed print and hit a closed door.
All connected and running now. Thanks all.
