Cannot get RE 205 extender to install
I have just purchased a Mesh Wifi Extender. RE205. V4. I have downloaded Tether app and followed instructions. Only one blue light (power) comes on. App says am connected on temporary TP Extender network which it says should use for start up. Nothing happens! Help!

So, after you finished the setup of the RE205 using the Tether app, the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the RE205 still had the name "TP-Link_Extender"?
Anyway, if the method using the Tether app doesn't work for you, then you could also try the other two methods shown in the Quick Guide to connect the RE205 to your Wi-Fi network. (i.e. "Via the WPS Button" and "Via a Web Browser")
