  @Mollcons

Hi, are you able to manage Deco x20 via Deco APP?

Have you tried to access Deco via its LAN IP address under Deco APP>More>Advanced>LAN IP?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

I am able to connect through the app and by using the internal IP address. But the tplinkdeco.net connection still fails to work. Why is this? Before I upgraded the driver yesterday it worked flawlessly. Immediately afterward (and still today), it tells me:-

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at tplinkdeco.net.

If you entered the right address, you can:
  • Try again later
  • Check your network connection
  • Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

@Mollcons Use 192.168.68.1 instead

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

  @ImtiazAli

That IP address does not work on my network. I have a FritzBox 7540 router coupled with the TPLink Mesh - the actual IP that does work is 168.68.178.37.

Hi, Have you tried http://tplinkdeco.net, instead of https?

Best regards.

Yes. The same response is received.

Hi, Did you use Sarafi? Or have you tried a different network browser, like  Chrome or Firefox?

  @David-TP

I do NOT have Safari on this platform (Windows), but have tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge - all show the same response.

My assumption is that the last firmware update broke the ability to connect to that URL.

Hi, 1.1.5 has been released for a while but I haven't seen similar feedback before.

However, I do see a new firmware 1.1.8 was released a few days ago.

If possible, you could try to install the latest firmware to see whether it helped:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/deco-x20/v3/#Firmware

Thank you very much and best regards.

Both in the app and in the browser, the latest version is showing as 1.1.5, released on 23rd October 2023.
